Hearts coach Sergio Traguil has labelled fans of the club as the best in the world after their unwavering show of support during their 1-1 draw with Kotoko in Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors took the through a close range strike from Kwame Boateng but this did not deter the Phobian faithful who kept cheering the team till they were duly rewarded with an equaliser through Patrick Razak.
Their massive support on Sunday has been praised by the former youth team coach of Benfica.
“I have to say that I have never seen so much love and support like I witnessed on Sunday against Kotoko from Hearts fans,” Coach Sergio told the club’s Facebook page.
“I saw it in Hasaacas but what I saw in Kumasi was something else – something from another world. I think the Phobians are the best supporters in the world.
“I saw Benfica and I was part of them. I was thinking that Benfica have the best supporters in the world but I will have to review that. Now, I am sure that Phobians are the best supporters in the world. Thank you for that support.”
Accra Hearts of Oak maintained their position on top of the league table with nine games to go despite picking just a point in the game.
