A security analyst, Emmanuel Bombandey, has criticised the Committee of Eminent Chiefs mediating in the Dagbon peace process for adopting adhoc measures that have failed to bring peace to the area.
Mr Bombandey, who is the Executive Secretary of the West African Network for Peace Building, told Joy News the committee has failed to establish a comprehensive programme to unite the Abudu and Andani factions in Dagbon.
The Abudu Royal Family on Monday expressed its concern about what it said is the seemingly stalled peace process in Dagbon.
The Youth of Abudu said the continued delay in the implementation of the road map set by the committee of eminent chiefs led by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has the potential to derail efforts to bring lasting peace to the area.
Mr Bombandey said the committee should take the blame should the peace process derail.
