Ghana managed to win its second medal in ongoing Africa Senior Athletics Championship in Durban- South Africa through the 4x100 female relay team.
The female relay team clocked a time of 44.05secs to place second behind South Africa enabled them win a second silver medal for Ghana.
The women's 4x100 team is made up of Flings Owusu-Agyapong, Gemima Acheampong, Beatrice gyaman and Janet amponsah.
IN OTHER EVENTS...
Sampson Laary placed 6th in 800m final with a time of 1:47.62 while Elizabeth Dadzie is currently 3rd in the ongoing Heptathlon after 4 events.
Men's 4x100m comprising of all local based athletes finished 6th in final with time of 40.21secs. and Julia Agawu also placed 4th in Discus with a throw of 51.74m .The third best throw in her life.
