Techiman City owner Charles Kwadwo Ntim is confident his side can upset Kotoko in the matchday 16 of the Ghana Premier League.
The league returns after a three week hiatus with the fixtures being reversed from the first round.
Thus, Techiman City will played Kotoko in Kumasi will be hosting the Porcupine Warriors in Techiman and their owner expects nothing less than a victory.
“Everybody knows the pedigree of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Techiman City respect them a lot because we are a smaller club when you compare us to Kotoko,” he told Asempa Sports.
“In the first round of the league we lost to Kotoko by 4-2 and it was inexperience that cost us but in the past years, you can see that Kotoko has not been the same and I strongly believe we can shock Kotoko and secure a win over them.”
The owner went on to assure fans attending the game that there will be top notch security presence.
“I want to reveal this to the public that security is going to be tough and tight because we don’t compromise on our security issues. We are going to involve both the military and the police as we did against Hearts of Oak here in Techiman.
“I am pleading with the supporters to comport themselves because when you are caught in the act of hooliganism, I will make sure you are not forgiven because we have a case pending with the Disciplinary Committee so I will make sure you are not forgiven when you are caught.”
Techiman City are on a three game winless streak.
