Adjoa Bayor would join the ranks of the senior women’s team, the Black Queens on their training tour of Germany later Thursday.
The attacker, one of the longest serving players of the side, would join her colleagues at their base close to Hanover as Ghana prepare for the start of the African Women Championship later this month in South Africa.
Bayor's arrival would increase the squad number to 25 as coach A.K Edusie looks to prune the team to 21.
The team arrived in the early hours of Wednesday for an intensive ten-day training programme as they build up towards the continental Championship.
The tournament in South Africa takes place from 29 October to 14 November, with the champions and runners-up representing the continent at the FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany next year.
Ghana, drawn in Group B will play their opening game of the African Women's Championship against Algeria. The team's second group game would be against Cameroon ahead of the final clash with defending champions, Equatorial Guinea.
