Round-up of Bundesliga Results

Substitute Simon Rolfes struck twice as Bayer Leverkusen snatched a remarkable victory away from Wolfsburg with three goals in the final 18 minutes at the VW-Arena. Wolfsburg vs. Bayer Leverkusen which was live on Multi TV’s Joy Sports Channel had Steve McClaren's side leading 2-0 after Grafite struck in the 68th minute to add to Diego's ninth-minute opener. But Leverkusen were level just seven minutes later as the German international Rolfes netted three minutes before Arturo Vidal's 75th-minute penalty. Rolfes, who had only come on as a 70th-minute replacement, then completed the unlikely comeback with his second eight minutes from the end. Leverkusen's success extended their unbeaten run to six games and moved them up to third in the Bundesliga table, while Wolfsburg slipped into the bottom half. Hamburg ended Mainz's perfect start to the Bundesliga season with Jose Paolo Guerrero's late goal securing a 1-0 win at the Bruchweg Stadion. Guerrero's close-range strike in the 88th minute prevented Thomas Tuchel's side from setting a new record of eight consecutive wins at the start of the campaign, and Borussia Dortmund now head the table on goal difference. Bayern Munich are well off the pace but a 3-0 win at home to Hannover may give them some momentum, the glory going to Mario Gomez as he scored a hat-trick. Gomez, who had not scored since February, netted in the 21st, 77th and 90th minutes as Munich ended a two-game losing run. Klaas Jan Huntelaar's late penalty secured Schalke a 2-2 draw at home to Stuttgart in a result which helps neither team in their fights to move up the standings. Timo Gebhart gave Stuttgart the lead in the 15th minute but the hosts equalised through Edu after 29 minutes. Stuttgart again grabbed the lead in the 74th minute with Martin Harnik's goal before Huntelaar's spot-kick came in the 80th minute. Hugo Almeida's strike with 17 minutes remaining saw Werder Bremen edge Freiburg 2-1 at the Weserstadion. Aaron Hunt had given the the hosts the lead just after the half-hour mark with a powerful low shot but Julian Schuster got the visitors back on level terms in the 62nd minute. Thomas Schaaf's side were not to be denied as striker Almeida coolly tapped home the winner. St. Pauli achieved their first home win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Nurnberg secured by a late effort from Florian Bruns. The Hamburg team edged ahead in first-half stoppage-time when Gerald Asamoah netted, and restored their lead through Marius Ebbers just before the hour mark after Mehmet Ekici grabbed a 48th-minute equaliser. Andreas Wolf pulled Nurnberg level for a second time after 62 minutes, but Bruns had the final say eight minutes from time. The German Bundesliga is live on Multi TV.
