Sportswear power house, Adidas, has unveiled the jerseys to be worn by the Stephen Appiah led world XI in the upcoming Vodafone Unity Match 2016.
The match an initiative by the former Black Stars captain is aimed at promoting peace as Ghana goes to the polls to elect a new President and Parliamentarians.
The unveiling which took place at the Adidas house, Airport West, saw in attendance peace ambassador, Appiah, Manager of Adidas Ghana, Valarie Ghajar, CEO of Primeval Media Ghana, Larry Opare Otoo and also present were ex-Black Stars midfielder and colleague of Appiah, Laryea Kingston and Augustine Arhinful, a member of the 1993 FIFA World Youth Championship, 1996 Summer Olympics and a participant in the 2000 African Cup of Nations.
The world XI will be in an all Black Adidas strip with white socks when they play Kumasi Asante Kotoko on June 8 and an all red with white socks against the Ghana Black Stars on June 11 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
