Aduana Stars coach Aristica Cioaba says they should have won their premier league game with Accra Hearts of Oak at the Dormaa Park on Sunday.
The Dormaa based side scored first in the game after defender Godfred Saka earned a deserved assist when Emmanuel Akuoko met his well delivered cross to head home.
Aduana were in control until they gifted a ball which Hearts striker Cosmos Dauda pounced on to level for the phobians.
“We were in control of the game in the first half and I think we should have killed it the game,” coach Cioaba said after the game
“The second half changed a bit but we were still in control and I was expecting my players to concentrate and finish the job but Hearts is a big team and when you play against them and you don’t take your chances they will definitely punish you.
“I’m ok with the result but I think we should have won.”
Aduana Stars remain second on the standings with 23 points.
