Smallboy Korbah has left Dreams FC after reaching an agreement with management to terminate his contract.
The former Asante Kotoko player had his two-year deal prematurely terminated last week.
Korbah who joined the Premier League debutants before the start of the season was unable to command a regular place in Charles Akonnor’s side – making just one appearance in this year’s campaign.
Both management and the player reached an agreement to terminate the contract to afford the defender pursue his career elsewhere with better playing opportunities.
Dreams FC’s Administrative Manager Ameenu Shardow wished the player well after the agreement was reached.
“We would have wished to retain Smallboy Korbah but his lack of first team opportunities has been weighing on all of us,” he told www.drreamsfc.com.
“He is a fine player but perhaps has been unlucky at this club.
“At Dreams, we care about the future of everyone here and it is the reason why sadly we reached an agreement mutually with the consent of the player to cancel the contract.
“We wish him the best of luck and hope he finds a club that will give him enough playing opportunities he deserves.”
