The Safety Office of English championship side, Queens Park Rangers has rendered separate apologies to the Ghana Football Association and Black Stars player, Haminu Dramani.
This follows the embarrassing treatment meted out to the player, who was bundled by stewards after Ghana’s international friendly with Australia played on November 14th at the Loftus Road Stadium.
The incident happened at the entrance of the stadium where after the game, a steward at the grounds in his bid to control a surging crowd within the stadium complex shoved the Black Stars attacker and briefly stopped him from boarding the team’s bus.
The Ghana Football Association formally lodged a complaint with the British Metropolitan Police, the management of the Loftus Road Stadium and Queens Park Rangers Football Club against the said steward. Ghana drew 1-1 with Australia in the international friendly.
