* HEAD-TO-HEAD
* The two clubs have met on 79 occasions in the Ghana league since 1958.
* The Famous game between the two clubs was in 1976 where Hearts beat Hasaacas by 5-0. Peter Lamptey scored 4 goals and Mohamed Polo added the other to sealed the day for Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium. This 5-0 was repeated in 2010 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
* In 1988/89 season,there was a controversy on leadership crisis at Hearts camp as who should lead the club. To curtail a crisis that might have disrupted the natural soccer program, the ministry of Sports had to step in with the appointment of Lt.Col.Akai Nettey, who have worked at GFA, as the sole administrator. There had been a protracted case in court with the directors of Hearts claiming that according to the constitution the running of the club was reposed in the directors and since there was a vacuum in the administration, they should be allowed to run the club. Judgement was given in favour of the directors and this sparked off trouble as a large section of the players revolted against them. The directors, taking advantage of the GFA dispeasation on registration of players, quickly recruited new players in addition to the few remaining loyal ones, and struck of the names of other players. The new team shifted their home grounds to El-Wak stadium. The directors even formed their own management committee. In a league match against Corners in kumasi, the directors then incharge of the team, could assemble only 14 players. Corners beat Hearts 1-0.
* The following week at Hearts home was against RTU and was called off 24 hours before the kick off apparently to avoid an explosive situation at Accra Sports Stadium. When the two factions in Hearts could clash .
* In another league game against Hasaacas at Gyandu Park in sekondi, Two Hearts team showed up, the directors so called 'Gallant 14' and a team representing the regular playing body led by Edward 'Asantrofie' Acquah,the prolific dribbler. There was pandemonium at the Gyandu Park and play was delayed for nearly one hour before security men physically bundled out the regular squad from the park, poor visibility disrupted the match which ended goalless draw. A replay was later orded and Hasaacas beat Hearts 3-2 .
* It took the ruling party, PNDC government to stepped in with the issue. But Hearts beat Hasaacas in the second round.
