Hearts of Oak ended their 4 game winless streak with a hard fought 2-1 win over Ashantigold in Obuasi. Forward Cosmos Dauda scored a brace as Hearts of Oak ended their 9 year wait for a win at the Len Clay Stadium. The game began on a frantic note with Ashantigold dominating the early exchanges and Hearts of Oak threatening on the counter with the power of Cosmos Dauda and the pace of Eric Kumi. Hearts took control of the latte bit of the first half without creating any clear cut chances. The Phobians however took the lead Dauda who chased down a flicked header to beat Fatau Dauda at his near post. Cosmos got the second minutes later as he scored a fortuitous header from a Mustapha Essuman cross. Ashantigold pulled one back through captain Awudu Nafiu but it only proved to be a consolation. More misery for Ashantigold as Hearts are on a high ahead of their super 2 clash against Kotoko.

Wa All Stars consolidated their lead at the top of the league with a 2-0 win over Inter Allies at the Wa Park. Striker Richard Arthur and Emmanuel Ocran scored late into the second half to maintain the 2 point lead at the top of the table for the Wa side.Striker Richard Arthur reacted to a Maxwell Baako cross from the right with an incisive header midway through the second-half before Emmanuel Ocran sealed victory for the home side in stoppage-time finishing a brilliant team move. Inter Allies goalkeeper Osei Kwame produced a string of impressive saves to deny a barrage of All Stars attacks to keep Herbert Addo's men in the game.

Aduana Stars enjoyed back to back win for the first time in the league as they recorded a resounding 3-0 victory over Medeama.Striker Yahaya Mohammed bagged a brace with a goal in each half before Elvis Opoku's late strike put the icing on the cake to confirm a good week for the Dormaa side.The Tarkwa side failed to yet again replicate their impressive CAF confederation cup form as they appeared in sixes and sevens for the entire duration of the game.Yahaya Mohammed opened the scoring after collecting a good cross from Zakaria Mumuni to power home a strike before he doubled his tally early into the second half.. Elvis Opoku converted the third goal with couple of minutes to end proceedings.

Liberty Professionals won their first game away from home after a Bernard Arthur strike on the 90th minute condemned Hasaacas to a defeat. Hasaacas started the game but fluffed their chances which seemed to give their guests more confidence.Bernard Arthurs secured all three points for the home side with a well taken strike on the 90th minute of the game which left Hasaacas with little or no time to respond.

Berekum Chelsea maintained their 100% home record with a convincing 3-0 victory over Dreams FC. A brace from top scorer Saddick Adams and one from Seth Appiah ensured all three points for the hosts. The defeat comes as a hammer blow for Dreams who were looking to recover from their home defeat against Kotoko. Chelsea took the lead through Seth Appiah just on the brink of halftime. Saddick Adams doubled the lead for Chelsea in the second half before he rounded up the game with an expertly converted free kick.

WAFA also maintained their unbeaten home record with a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs in Sogakope without leading scorer Samuel Tetteh Charles as  Boateng and Ibrahim Tanko scored in each half to ensure maximum points for the academy side. Boateng opened the scoring with a neat finish from close range before Ibrahim Tanko put the final nail in  the coffin of a Dwarfs after breaking the offside trap of their guests.

Techiman City responded to their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Techiman City with a comfortable 2-0 win over Bechem United.
Techiman city totally dominated both halves and goals in each half from Issaka Ibrahim and Isaac Baah ensured the Techiman side remain unbeaten at home Issaka Ibrahim picked his spot well in the 11th minute to slot home the opening goal for Techiman City before Isaac Baah doubled the lead with a composed finish to extend Techiman city impressive run against their Brong Ahafo rivals. Techiman City have now beaten all Brong Ahafo sides at their Techiman venue.
