Asante Kotoko progressed to the round of 16 stage of the MTN FA Cup for the fifth successive year with a 2-0 win over second tier side Real 24 hours in Tumu.
Striker Obed Owusu scored a brace to ensure Kotoko’s progression to the next round.
Kotoko honored the match despite complains about bad condition of the Tumu pitch and were good value for the win with a convincing performance.
Owusu put Kotoko ahead in the first half when he expertly converted a penalty before sealing progression with a strike late on.
