Cristiano Ronaldo scored a dramatic late winner as 10-man Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1 in the Clasico at the Camp Nou.
Ronaldo fired low into the Barcelona net just minutes after Sergio Ramos had been sent off for persistent fouling.
It ended a 39-game unbeaten run for Barcelona, who had not lost since October.
Gerard Pique headed in a corner to give Barcelona the lead 10 minutes into the second half, before Karim Benzema equalised with a brilliant scissor-kick just after the hour mark.
Gareth Bale had what looked like a legitimate goal chalked off before Ramos saw red - but Real came through thanks to Ronaldo's late strike.
Barcelona's lead in La Liga has been trimmed to six points ahead of Atletico Madrid, seven ahead of Real.
