Football Administrator and bankroller of Neoplan Stars Abbey Pobi believes the citizens of the country have lost the passion and love for the Black Stars.
Fans and various supporters failed to turn up at the Accra Sports Stadium on last week Thursday when the Black Stars beat Mozambique 3-1.
This, according to Pobi, is as a result of the love lost between the Stars and citizens.
“I noticed something when the Black Stars played Mozambique at the Accra Sports Stadium and what I saw was that the citizens have totally lost the love they once had for the Black Stars,” he told Joy Sports
“We have noticed many matches played here at Accra but this is the worst I have witnessed because despite the match being played on Thursday, I expected massive support for the Stars.”
“However this has been lost because of the unnecessary budget and bonuses they demand from the nation.”
“We all saw what happened in Brazil. We were dumped out mainly because of monetary issues.
Ghana are on the verge of qualifying for the Afcon to be held in Gabon next year.
