Amanda Acquah has rendered an unqualified apology to her ex-husband Kennedy Agyapong (Kenpong) for her lose comments few months ago.
Amanda, the wife of Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah, attributed her unfortunate comments to anger and ill advice from bad company.
She visited the Airport residence of the former Asante Kotoko board member on Sunday evening to apologize for dragging Kenpong's name in the mud.
"I am here to apologize for what happened, all the things I said were not true," Amanda said.
"He doesn't deserve it, I said it out of anger, I feel so proud of our son now because of how he has taken good care of him.
"I am indeed sorry for my actions, I will say it was due to immaturity, I am very sorry and I mean it from the bottom of my heart."
"How can I be so heartless to a gentleman whose effort enabled me to acquire a house?. He has a clean heart. I just want to be close to him because of our son."
“ What happened was bad, I could have apologized on the phone but decided to come down from abroad. He was the brain behind my education, travels, getting me a shop and buying me a Range Rover. We are not enemies, he should consider the child and forgive me.
“Everybody knows he is hardworking, he is not into drugs as I pointed out, it was an inside fight never meant to come out, everybody know how he is been good to me. I have been worried since the tape leaked, none of the things I said were true.”
Businessman Kenpong responded to her plea in a calm fashion.
"l have forgiven you, I have nothing against you.”
