Hearts of Oak playmaker Samudeen Ibrahim is raring to go after missing the Phobians last two matches through injury.
The skillful midfielder missed Hearts’ away trips to Tarkwa and Cape Coast but is set to return to the team as they take on Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“I missed two matches through injury which are part of the game,” Samudeen told Adom FM Sports
“I will not let the fans down if they came to the stadium on Sunday. They won’t regret it.”
“I am grateful to the fans for their support and prayers. I will do whatever it takes in my powers to help Hearts win on Sunday.”
The reigning MVP of the division one league caught the eye of Hearts’ fans after their matchday one victory over New Edubiase but Samudeen is remaining grounded as he hopes to produce consistent performances for the Phobians.
“I am not letting the praises get into my head. The biggest pressure was my Hearts debut which I delivered.”
“Whatever happens now is just normal for me.”
So delectable was his play on matchday one that he was adjudged best player of the game.
