Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold are unsure about their participation in next year’s Caf Confederation Cup.
Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo confirmed they are yet to receive full backing from the club’s board of directors.
“Management will love to play in the Confederation cup but we are yet to receive support from the board,” Fianoo said.
“But from what we gather we believe the board is also interested and likely to approve our quest to represent the country in the competition.”
AshGold, then Obuasi Godfields, were losing finalists in the 1997 edition of the Caf Champions League.
