Pupils of St. Benedict Catholic school were in attendance to access the free screening and counseling.

"I have learned to be careful of what I eat and how I eat", said one of the residents.

According to Dr. Nana Ama Barnes, the Thursday screening has helped the people to be conscious of their health.

She said The Sugar Project has been helpful and should be replicated across board.
