Barely three days after the wife had traveled out of town to see to her sick mother, Mr. Nsiah, a well-respected gentlemen returned home one evening with a charming young lady whom he introduced as his niece to his children as well as other members of the household.
He even went on to tell the kids that the said niece who had just completed her apprenticeship in dressmaking had come from his hometown to collect some money to enable her set up her own business. However, disaster struck two days later when the so-called niece went wild and let the cat out of the bag.
She reportedly held the collar of the shirt of Nsiah at the time he was leaving for work saying she could no longer wait and wanted her money to leave. The supposed ‘uncouth behaviour’ of the lady towards her 'uncle' tickled the suspicion of eye witnesses who wondered why she was forcing him to set her up in business.
It was at that point that the lady let out the guarded secret “I am not his niece. I’m a prostitute. He has slept with me for two days but instead of paying me off, he still wants me to wait because he claims he has no money. I can’t wait any longer. He should pay me now”.
Just as all eye witnesses expected Mr. Nsiah to take on the young lady for making such a wild allegations against him, he rather held her mouth in an attempt to prevent her for speaking and quickly rushed indoors for money to pay her.
Even after receiving the money, the lady went ahead to tell those present how, Nsiah who has been his regular client came for her at her Adabraka base to spend sometime with him at home because the wife had traveled out to town.
Meanwhile, Mrs Nsiah has returned home and is threatening to walk out of her marriage for the disgrace brought to the family within the neighborhood by the husband.
