Barcelona midfielder Xavi says Cesc Fabregas is desperate to quit Arsenal.
Xavi says his Spain teammate is fed-up with the lack of silverware coming his way, particularly how former club Barcelona has performed at home and in Europe in recent years.
"I don't know if he'll come this summer," Xavi told El Mundo Deportivo. "He cannot hold on for another year. His heart and mind are in Barcelona, it would make sense for them to sell him now.
"They could invest the money in a player, or players who want to be at the club long term, instead of continuing with a player whose heart is somewhere else - regardless of how good he is.
"Cesc has only tasted success with Spain and that's not fair for one of the best midfielders in the world. He has to win things every season."
