Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman has invited Edward Boateng of Global Media Alliance and the Silverbird Group to become a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Informed Societies 2010 given his thought leadership in this field.
The Global Agenda Council on Informed Societies Councils, comprises 15 to 20 Members, and serves as an informal advisory board to the Board of the World Economic Forum and, through the Forum, to the international community. The Councils represent the world’s foremost integrated ‘intelligence’ network of innovative thinking and idea exchange on global issues. Edward Boateng said “I was humbled when I received the call from the office of Klaus Schwab to join the Council. I will use the opportunity to contribute my ideas to solving and providing answers to some of the issues facing us today and also learn from the experts and thinkers I will be privileged to be working with.”
Mr. Boateng will participate in the Summit of the Network of Global Agenda Councils in Dubai, 29 November to 1 December 2010.
The Global Agenda Council is integrated in the Global Agenda Partnership and brings the world’s most relevant experts together in a comprehensive co-creative process to monitor and address global, regional and industry challenges.
