Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has called on fans of the team to measure their expectations ahead of the start of this season’s Ghana Premier league.
The Porcupine warriors have arguably been the best team in preseason, having won three trophies and impressed in all friendly matches.
This has given the fans hope and confidence that their team will be resolute in the league.
But Coach Duncan believes it won’t be that easy.
“All the teams have an equal measure of quality player,” he told Kotoko Express
“When you take the Kotoko team for example, not many of them make the cut for the local Black Stars.”
“The rest of them are elsewhere, by that benchmark we can’t call this team the finished article or the best team on the local scene.”
“We should just work hard and forget hype. You don’t expect us to go easy and win games.”
Duncan will be hoping to claim his first ever Premiership title with Kotoko this season.
