Newly-promoted Techiman City FC have confirmed the capture of experienced trainer Yusif Abubakar as head coach for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.
The former Heart of Lions coach parted ways with the Kpando after failing to ensure their survival in the league.
Club president of Techiman City, Charles Kwadwo Ntim, announced his outfit have engaged the former Heart of Lions coach for a two-year period.
“We are working with Yusuf Abubakar, former Heart of Lions coach,” he told Joy Sports.
“He has signed a two years contract with us.”
Abubakar has rich coaching experience in the Ghana league having had stints with Berekum Chelsea, Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak and King Faisal.
