Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has predicted a cliffhanger against a rugged German side hungry for victory to avoid early exit.
“It is going to be difficult for us; and it is going to be difficult for them too.
“…As you can see we have good and quality players and we are just concentrating on what we are doing," he told Joy News hours before kickoff.
The Stars need just a draw to book what looks like the only African slot in the round of 16 but will have to survive 90 grueling minutes of football.
Many Ghana fans are apprehensive of the German threat but Kwadwo Asamoah insists the Stars will prevail.
“What I will like to tell Ghanaians is that they shouldn’t worry about anything they should still continue to support us in prayers and I know we are going to make it,” he assured.
Ghana go into the match without Isaac Vorsah who has failed to win the battle against an injury he sustained in the match against Serbia.
Miroslav Klose will also miss the match due to suspension.
