IS NEYMAR SET TO TEAM UP WITH GUARDIOLA?

Barceloona and Brazil forward Neymar admits he admire Pep Guardiola, and is keen to play for the Bayern Munich coach, who is bound for England this summer to manage with Manchester City touted as favourites for the coach. "Guardiola is a guy that I really admire and who I would love to work with," said Neymar "It's tough to say if I want to play in other countries. Nobody knows tomorrow, but I'm very happy where I am right now, at Barcelona. I have the will to go back to Brazil some day and I also would like to play in the USA, those two countries are two where I want to play later on my career."

‘NO BAYERN PANIC BUYS’

Bayern Munich are not going to respond to the loss of Jerome Boateng to injury by drafting in a last-minute replacement this transfer window, according to their chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.Boateng could miss the rest of the season due to a groin injury he picked up in last Friday night's 2-1 win over Hamburg.The Bavarians, who are still on course for three trophies this season in the Bundesliga, Champions League and DFB-Pokal, are short on cover at the back, but Rummenigge wants to see the squad pull together rather than go hunting for emergency buys."We've got to hold our nerve," he wrote in the matchday programme for Bayern's clash with Hoffenheim this Saturday. "SOS solutions, which are currently doing the rounds, will not help us any further anyway."Good players are not sold in winter and emergency signings are precisely that, and they only cost money. Bayern still have excellent cover in defence, and the most important thing is we should trust our players."

POCH HAPPY AT SPURS

Mauricio Pochettino says he is planning for the long-term at Tottenham and not bothered by rumours of Chelsea's interest.Pochettino's Spurs are still in contention for three trophies this season, five points off the top of the Premier League and with a Europa League knockout tie against Fiorentina imminent."I don't mind," he said. "We are supposed to receive the rumours and we are in a media that is all about rumours. But I don't care about that. I always work for the present and the future. I'm very happy here."

FIFA SUSPEND REAL MADRID BAN

Real Madrid have confirmed that the FIFA Appeal Committee has provisionally suspended the two-window transfer ban imposed on them for irregularities with regard to signing players under the age of 18.Los Blancos, along with city rivals Atletico, were hit with the sanction which was set to come into force over the summer, and prevent them from signing players until the end of next season.However, the club confirmed they would appeal, and football’s governing body has now seemingly decided to reassess their stance.The suspension means Real will be allowed to register new players for the 2016/17 campaign.A statement on Real Madrid’s website read: “Real Madrid CF announce that the FIFA Appeal Committee has decided to provisionally suspend the sanction imposed on the club.” Atletico’s ban has also been suspended.

BONY WANTS TO STAY

Wilfried Bony insists he does not want to leave Manchester City, just 12 months after his big-money January move from Swansea.The Ivorian has struggled for regular first-team football following his £25m transfer, but says he will remain at the Etihad Stadium.“I absolutely do not want to leave Manchester City. I want to stay here. I am in the fifth biggest club in the world. Why should I look elsewhere?“Of course, nobody is happy sitting on a bench. But I came to City to win trophies, I know I’m going to play close to 38 games this season.”

LEICESTER JOIN REMY CHASE

Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri is closing in on a deal for Chelsea striker Loic Remy.Chelsea are holding out for £10m but Leicester are trying to thrash out a deal for the 29-year-old France forward.

UNITED COMPETING FOR MUSA

Sources have told us Leicester are also in talks with CSKA Moscow for Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa, but there could be competition from Manchester United.There's no agreement yet on a fee, with CSKA asking for £18million.

KLOPP EYES HERNANDEZ

It's no secret that Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez has fully rediscovered his mojo since leaving Manchester United for Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, and the Mexico striker's fine form has reportedly caught the eye of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. Hernandez, 27, is "one of their priority targets" for the summer after they apparently failed with an effort to tempt him to Anfield in 2014, prior to his loan switch to Real Madrid. Liverpool apparently looked into the possibility of a January move but have accepted that there's no business to be done yet.

GARDE WANTS GABBY STAY

Aston Villa boss Remi Garde wants Gabby Agbonlahor to stay at the club beyond Monday's transfer deadline.The long-serving striker has been linked with a move this month, but is in contention to face Manchester City on Saturday. Turkish side Kayserispor have been linked with Agbonlahor, but Garde wants him to stay."I think so," said the Frenchman, when asked if the forward would still be at the club next week."When I arrived Gabby was injured and was not in the training sessions for a long time. The time I spent discovering the team and players he was not here. He has trained for the last week and seems to be better. If he's in the right mood and okay physically he could give us a lift with goals."

KHAZRI FEE AGREED?

There's further news on Sunderland's bid to sign Wahbi Khazri with Bordeaux saying a fee has been agreed for the player.A statement on Bordeaux's official website confirmed the departure of the player. Reports in France claim he has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League side.The statement read: "The club has reached an agreement with Sunderland AFC for the transfer of Wahbi Khazri. The playmaker has a great opportunity with the English club, and he was therefore allowed to go to England to negotiate with them."Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce turned his full attention to Khazri after admitting defeat in his battle to sign Andre Ayew from relegation rivals Swansea. And he will consider the capture of Khazri a victory after reports this week that both Everton and Aston Villa were also tracking the player.

ARE LEICESTER SET TO COMPLETE DEAL FOR NIANG?

Milan forward M’Baye Niang is reportedly in advanced talks over a move to Leicester City. The Foxes are in the market for a striker, but saw a move for Eder fall through when the Sampdoria striker chose to move to Inter. Leicester have bid €15m [£11.4m] for the Frenchman, and while the Rossoneri will make a decision today, the deal appears to be well-established.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has given an update on full-back Mathieu Debuchy’s future.The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium with Sunderland and Aston Villa reportedly interested.Wenger said: “Mathieu Debuchy might go somewhere but I don't know where. A decision has to be made quickly now."

Leicester’s bid to sign Eder is over after Inter Milan confirmed the signing of the in-form striker from Sampdoria.Eder has left Sampdoria on an initial two-year loan deal, although the 29-year-old has agreed to remain at San Siro until at least 2020 if the switch proves successful.The Italy international, who has scored 12 Serie A goals this season, told inter.it: "I'm extremely happy to be here. Many years of sacrifice have earned me the chance to join a big club like Inter."The Brazil-born player built his reputation at Empoli before joining Samp in January 2012. He scored 49 goals in all competitions for the Marassi outfit and was called up by Italy last March.

HIDDINK ON MIAZGO

Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has confirmed the club are closing in on a deal to bring New York Read Bulls defender Matt Miazgo to Stamford Bridge."He [Miazgo] is a promising player," Hiddink said. When does the transfer window open?

The transfer window opens  on Saturday, January 2, 2016.

Is that the same across Europe?

No, the transfer window in France also opens on January 2 but Premier League clubs will have to wait until at least January 4 to sign players from Italy or Spain. The transfer window in Germany opens on New Year's Day.
Any deals between Premier League clubs and players in Spain will have to be wrapped up 24 hours before the window closes in England - the deadline in Spain is 11pm (GMT) on January 31. The windows in France and Italy close on the same day as in England, with the German transfer window shutting at 5pm on February 2.
