Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey has downplayed concerns the GFA’s set date for the league is not enough for the clubs.
Commey is of the belief the clubs have had ample time to put all their plans in order and the February 20 date should see all clubs ready to participate.
“We should not look at it from this point that January to February,” he told Joy Sports
“Preparations have started already with teams. I know for instance tentatively we set December 20 for the start but for litigations.”
“So we have had enough time to train. I think all teams are ready and the football fever is in the air.”
“The level depends on the teams and what they’ve done throughout the period.”
Aduana have been tipped for greatness this season after acquiring quality signings in the transfer window.
Aside maintaining the services of Stephen Adams and Godfred Saka, the Dormaa side have bolstered their ranks with Yaya Mohammed, Richard Mpong, Noah Martey, Zakaria Mumuni, Stephen Anokye Boadu and Joseph Addo who are all tried and tested players in the Premier League.
