Inter Milan are reportedly chasing Tottenham’s Gareth Bale and are ready to offer Ghana’s World Cup star Sulley Muntari in a part-exchange deal.
The Italian paper Corriere dello Sport estimates that Tottenham Manager Harry Redknapp would demand at least 10 million euros plus Muntari, who he coached at Portsmouth, in exchange for his hugely talented left-back.
25-year-old Muntari, valued at 15 million euros, is contracted to Inter until the end of season 2012/2013.
He has been linked with a host of other clubs, including Everton, says the Corriere dello Sport.
Bale was instrumental in Tottenham’s qualification for the Champions League, turning in some inspirational performances in the north Londoners’ tough run-in and bagging what turned out to be winning goals against both Chelsea and Arsenal.
The Welshman has reportedly also attracted attention from Inter’s rivals, AC Milan, as well as fellow Serie A side Juventus.
The 20-year-old is valued at 10-15 million euros and his newly-signed contract expires at the end of the 2013/2014 season.
