DR Congo became the second team to advance at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) as they beat Angola 4-2.
A goalless draw between Cameroon and Ethiopia helped the DR Congo advance at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) as they beat Angola 4-2.
This follows their emphatic 3-0 win over Ethiopia leaving DR Congo with 7 goals in the tournament.
DR Congo raced into a 3-0 lead by half-time against Angola with Nelson Munganga Elia Meschak and Jonathan Bolingi all finding the net for the 2009 champions.
Gelson of Angola struck one back but Merveille Bope scored DR Congo's fourth before Yano scored Angola’s second.
In the other game Cameroon drew goalless with Ethiopia to leave them second on the league log.
The Cameroonians know a draw in their final match against DR Congo will be enough for them to go through.
Only a big win for Ethiopia against Angola coupled with a Cameroon loss will give the Ethiopians any chance of progressing.
