Ghana put finishing touches to their preparations before setting up camp in Rustenberg on Wednesday with a 4-0 test game victory over a local Durban side.
The Black Stars who kick off their World Cup group D campaign against Serbia were pitched against Ethikwini Soccer Academy.
Goals from Dominic Adiyiah, Stephen Appiah, Matthew Amoah and Prince Tagoe rounded up the day’s workout for Milovan Rajevac’s side ahead of the Sunday’s opening game.
Rajevac was also content with his team’s performance as Ghana bid goodbye to the Rhoode Valley Hotel in Pretoria and moved to the Sun City Hotel in Rustenberg.
“I liked the way my team played. It was also good for the team to enjoy a fine session without any injury,” he told www.ghanafa.org.
Ghana open their Group D campaign against Serbia on June 13 before playing Australia and Germany.
