Ghana's Black Queens beat Senegal 3-0 on Sunday to secure their place at the next African Women’s Championship.
The qualification at the Ohene Djan Stadium ensured that the Black Queens will be making their 7th appearance at the women's championship having consistently participated at the finals since 1998.
Two first half goals by Portia Boakye and Diana Ankomah put Ghana in the driving seat of confirming their spot in the Championship to be hosted by South Africa before Florence Okoe capped victory with the third goal in the second half.
The Black Queens thus finished the two-leg tie on a 4-0 aggregate scoreline after winning the reverse clash in Dakar 1-0 a fortnight ago.
Ghana and six other teams will join hosts South Africa for the final tournament fixed for September.
