More than 1,500 David Bowie fans have signed a petition calling for the musician to be brought back from the dead.
The unusual petition, titled “Say no to David Bowie dead”, was created by Andrea Natella from Rome, Italy, on website change.org.
On the page, writing to God directly, she simply says: “David Bowie cannot be dead!”
People from all over the world - from Italy and Poland to Abu Dhabi and London - signed the page.
Mirko Bosio, from France, wrote on the page: “I do not believe that humanity is ready to absorb the cosmic void that is being created . No, please.”
Ilaria Isaia from Milano, Italy wrote: “I say NO, because this is just the nastiest thing God could do to us now!”
Elena Ghiglione, from Italy added: “I don’t want to live in a world without David Bowie.”
David Bowie was 69 years old when passed away on January 10 after a secret 18-month battle with cancer.
