There was drama at the office of the Mampong District Health Insurance Scheme in the Ashanti Region as workers reported for work on Tuesday only to find their office locked.
A group calling itself Concerned Youth of Mampong left a written note demanding the resignation of scheme officials for engaging in fraudulent activities.
Mampong District Police Commander, Superintendent Oduro Kwarteng says the office has since been opened for normal work amid tight security, but no arrests have been made
Meanwhile, the Regional Co-ordinator of the scheme, Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has described the action of the youth as criminal and should not be tolerated
