Hearts of Oak have appointed Thomas Kwesi and Eric Barimah-Atuahene as board of directors of the club.
Their appointment was confirmed at the fifth Annual General Meeting held at the Accra International Conference center.
Barima Atuahene is currently the chairman of the club's National Chapters Committee while Esso joins the board as a replacement to Apiigy Afenu.
Addressing the shareholders at the conference, board chairman Togbe Afede was elated to have both members on board and was particularly pleased by the fact that the supporters of the club were now represented on the board.
"We have NCC represented on the Board and that was my idea right from the beginning when we took over endorsed by the Board."
"The delay in Mr. Atuahene joining the Board as we explained was because we had to do it properly, consistent with the demands of our regulations and Companies Code."
Both men join the board with great expertise with Atuahene adding his knowledge via his experience on the supporters front as well as an ex-management member while Esso joins with a solid financial background following his work with SAS Financial Group as well as experience in auditing, accounting, taxation and investment banking.
