The GSE All-Share Index rose 130 points 6,449.38 points from 6,319.38 points.
This brings the gain so far this year to 15.74 percent.
Traded volumes closed the session up a little over 1.1 million shares valued at GH¢651,488.14.
On the broader market, there were seven price changes - six gainers and one loser.
Ghana Commercial Bank gained GH¢0.02 at GH¢1.03, Produce Buying Company was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.12, Standard Chartered Bank was up GH¢0.02 at GH¢39.71.
Other gainers including Ghana Oil Company soared GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.19, Fan Milk Limited up GH¢0.05 at GH¢6.95 and Ecobank Transnational Incorporated gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.17.
The sole loser was Enterprise Insurance Company, which shed GH¢0.07 at GH¢1.68.
Market Capitalization closed the session at GH¢18,172.16 million.
