Turkish coach Can Vanli has confirmed he is in talks with some Ghanaian clubs following his disappointment at Hearts of Oak.
The trainer was overlooked for the substantive coaching role of the Phobians despite playing a role in the club’s last six matches last season which saw them survive relegation.
Vanli remains in Ghana months on and has openly expressed his disappointment
“Of course I am disappointed because my expectation was to get the job for the coming season.”
He however confirmed to Joy Sports he has been approached by several clubs including division one side Tano Bofoakwa.
“Yes it is true I am talking to some clubs but this is a secret so I can’t mention names,” he told Joy Sports.
“I have the trust of these clubs so I can’t mention names until everything is done and I am appointed.”
Vanli was part of the technical team of Turkey that won bronze at the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan.
