Former Black Stars captain has attributed the chaotic situation between the Sports Ministry and the Football Association to miscommunication.
Akunnor made these comments after captain Asamoah Gyan expressed discontent about the possible slashing of winning bonus of the Black Stars from $10,000 to $ 5,000.
"It is not about the reduction of the money but the manner in which the massage is conveyed to the players. This should be sorted indoors."
But he was sure this current situation will not affect the Black Star team against comoros on their match on Friday
"These are professional players who have served the country and will continue to serve, so they know how to deal with such situations."
"Honestly it is not a good sign for us as a team. We will be ridiculed if we continue to behave like this," he added.
Akunnor is currently preparing newly promoted Dreams FC for their first ever campaign in the First Capital Plus Premier League.
