Black Princesses coach Masud Didi Dramani says his side is ready to take on Ethiopia in their first leg final qualifier for the Women’s World Cup despite a dearth of information on the opposition.
Ghana's female U-20 team are chasing a fourth appearance at the World Cup after playing at the 2010, 2012 and 2014 editions of the tournament.
The players and officials left for Addis Ababa on Thursday for the first leg on Sunday.
Dramani believes they have done everything right to get a good result despite the little knowledge about their opponents.
“Unfortunately we have not had enough information about our opponents but at top level football you always have to step up your preparations to the highest level and respect your opponents,” he told Joy Sports.
“Knowing that it is the final face of the qualifier we expect them to be very strong but we are going in with a game plan of defending compactly, work hard to keep a clean sheet and play more on the breaks.”
Nigeria will also face South Africa in the other qualifying match.
Winners of the two final qualifying matches will sail through to the 2016 FIFA U 20 Women's World Cup which will be staged in Papua New Guinea.
