Ghana’s Olympic Team, the Black Meteors will play a friendly match against Premier League side Heart of Lions on Thursday.
The match will serve as part of preparations for the Meteors who will play the 2nd leg qualifier of the All African Games away to Ivory Coast next week.
The Meteors posted a 2-0 win over their opponents last month in the first leg at the Sunyani Coronation Park and are back in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
Meanwhile the national Under-17 side, the Black Starlets are also back in camp under new head coach Osam Duodu who replaces the banned Bashiru Hayford.
Hayford has been handed an eight-match ban by the Confederation of African Football after he was fingered for protesting too much at a bitter first leg qualifier against the Baby Elephants of the Ivory Coast.
The Black Starlets drew with the Ivorians 3:3 on aggregate but qualified on the away goal rule for the African Under-17 Championships in Togo in March and are back in camp to begin preparations.
The Starlets are hoping to qualify for the Under 17 World Cup in Korea with a good showing at the Togo tournament.
