Ghana international Jeffrey Schlupp warmed up in fine form with club football ahead of the international break with the Black Stars of Ghana.
The versatile defender who has had a consistent run of form for his Leicester City club was handed another start in their English Premier League game against Norwich City.
Leicester City who were handed their first Premier League defeat by Arsenal last weekend were determined to get back to winning ways on the road starting the game against Norwich on the high foot.
Jamie Vardy scored the opener for away side Leicester City from the penalty spot with two minutes to the half hour mark in the game, holding on to take the solo goal lead into the interval.
Jeffrey Schlupp took no time to score and double the lead for Leicester City after the break with a quick counter attacking football and exchange play.
Dieumerci Mbokani pulled a goal back for home side Norwich City but Claudio Roneri’s side held on to the slender lead to take all three points in the game before the international break.
Jeffrey Schlupp was replaced by Andy King in the 77 minute of the game.
