The Ga Traditional Council has announced that it does not recognize Mr Yartey Oto-Ga as Ga Dzasetse.
A statement signed by Ms Agnes Koranteng, Assistant Regional Registrar, said the Council arrived at the unanimous decision at its meeting on April 20.
The Council warned that anyone who extended courtesies to him did so at his or her peril.
The statement said: "I am directed by the President of the Ga Traditional Council to bring to the notice of the general public that Mr Yartey Oto-Ga is not recognized by the Council as Dzasetse, as he holds himself out to be, and that anyone who extends any courtesies to him in this regard does so at his or her peril."
