Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has described what for him will be a perfect way to end this season’s First Capital plus premier league.
Judging by Kotoko’s position on the table, it is mathematically impossible for the Porcupine Warriors to defend the title they won last season.
This will be used as a measure for David Duncan who took over from Didi Dramani in the course of the season.
But the former Hearts coach has told Joy Sports what he perceives to be a perfect season for him will be to afford all members of his playing body a chance to prove their worth before the league comes to an end.
“A successful season for me is when I have been able to give every player an opportunity to show what he can do so that I don’t the mistake or regret of having to offload anybody unjustifiably.”
Duncan took over Kotoko after ten league games when the club had recorded 11 points out of a possible 30. During his time, Kotoko have gone ahead to record 32 more points out of a possible 54 to leave the Porcupine Warriors third on the league log.
