Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac has emphatically stated that they will beat Ivory Coast in their Group B clash at the African Cup of Nations on Friday even though he will be playing with many young players.
The Black Stars have been decimated because of injuries to key players like Stephen Appiah, John Mensah and John Paintsil.
Ghana, who have in their squad eight youngsters who won the U20 World Cup in Egypt in October, will be battling world-class players like Didier Drogba, Kolo Toure, Yaya Toure and Salomon Kalou.
Despite the huge gap in favour of the Elephants, Rajevac says his side will beat the Ivorians in their clash in Cabinda.
"We have a very young team and we are going to play an experienced team," said Rajevac.
"It will be a young side out to prove themselves against Ivory Coast.
“It is going to be a very difficult game for us tomorrow (Friday) but I promise we are going to beat Ivory Coast."
Ghana will reach the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations if they win the game in Cabinda.
