Otabil: 2010 is Year of the Breakthrough

Rev. Dr. Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) has declared the New Year (2010) as one for breakthroughs in which hitherto unassailable heights would be conquered. He made the prophetic pronouncement Thursday night at the Independence Square in Accra as he led several thousands of worshippers at the 2009 Crossover Watch Night Service to thank God and to seek His face for the New Year. mammoth crowd Dr. Mensa Otabil declared that in 2010, not only will God grant spiritual breakthroughs, He will also give the faithful mental and physical breakthroughs. “…Your minds will be fruitful, your thoughts will be inspired, your ideas will be charged, in your thinking, in your meditative moments in your sleeping moments, in your quiet moments God will infuse your mind with divine ideas and you would have concepts that will resolve problems…” “Let’s get ready because out of Ghana world class thinkers, entrepreneurs, business people are about to rise up,” he said, assuring also that the era of Ghanaian leaders globetrotting for foreign investors to invest in Ghana would be replaced by indigenous investors. “…That story will change because they will not look for foreign investors any longer. The investors are sitting here and not only will you become a solution to Ghana but we will all be sitting here and governments and presidents will come to you for solutions because God will drop ideas in your mind that will make you a solution to the world.”
