The body of an unidentified man believed to be in his early 30's was on Wednesday morning found floating in Lake Bosomtwe.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Edward Osei, Bosomtwe District Police Commander, told the Ghana News Agency that the police does not suspect foul play but have begun investigations to unravel the cause of the death.
The body was retrieved by a team from National Disaster Management Organisation and the Environmental Health Unit of the District Assembly with support from the local community.
The body of the deceased had been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
ASP Osei appealed to people with information about the deceased to contact the Kuntanase Police.
