The national U-20 Women’s football team, the Black Princesses, have qualified to the next stage of the African qualifiers for the U-20 Women’s World Cup in Germany next year.
This comes after their opponents, Congo, announced their withdrawal from the qualifiers.
The Princesses are expected to regroup in camp on December 8 to commence preparations for their next game on January 10, against the winner of this weekend’s North African clash between Egypt and Tunisia.
The chairman of the management committee of the Black Princesses, Jones Abu Alhassan, told Joy Sports the Princesses hope to emulate the Black Satellites’ U-20 World Cup success.
