The series started in July 1 and ends on August 31.
When does the transfer window open?
The Premier League season wrapped up on May 24 and there has been a slew of confirmed transfers since - including James Milner and Danny Ings to Liverpool and Memphis Depay's move to Manchester United. But the window did not officially open until 12am on Wednesday 1 July 2015.
Is that the same across Europe?
No it is not. The transfer window dates for the major European leagues have yet to be finalised, but France, Germany, Spain and Italy's tends to open at the beginning of June rather than July. This means players from those leagues can agree moves into England, but transfers will not be ratified until July 1. The Dutch summer transfer window tends to open in the second week of June.

Salah to be sued by Fioentina
Fiorentina have threatened to take legal action against Mohamed Salah after the player informed them he did not wish to extend his loan from Chelsea for the forthcoming season, with Internazionale having indicated a desire to bring the Egypt winger to San Siro.
Salah, an £11m recruit from Basel in 2014, moved to Florence in January on a six-month temporary deal and duly revived his career in Serie A, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances. With that in mind, both Fiorentina and Chelsea anticipated the winger spending a further 12 months at stadio Artemia Franchi. However, after weeks of haggling over personal terms, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, informed Fiorentina on Thursday evening that he would not be returning to the club for the campaign ahead.
That has left the Italians infuriated, particularly given they had apparently made him “an insane offer”, according to the director Vincenzo Guerini, believed to be around £2.1m-a-year plus bonuses to keep him out of Inter’s clutches...
