Struggling giants Hearts of Oak have launched an audacious bid to secure the services of U-20 World Cup winning coach Sellas Tetteh.
Tetteh, who helped Ghana to win Africa's first U20 World Cup title in Egypt two months ago, returned to his former club Liberty Professionals this week.
Ghanasoccernet sources within Hearts management indicate that they will swoop for the experienced national team coach if Egyptian trainer Ayman El Yamani fails to revive the side within two weeks.
El Yamani is struggling to make Hearts a winning team and fans as well as management of the club are reportedly losing confidence in him.
The 53-year-old could be axed if Hearts loses the plot against perennial rivals Asante Kotoko on 13 December at the Ohene Djan stadium.
Reports suggest management have penciled down Tetteh during the window break in January.
Hearts of Oak say they can offer Sellas the better platform to underline his coaching credentials as he eyes a top-notch post with the Black Stars in future.
