The 2015 Wimbledon Championships started on Monday, June 29. and goes on until July 12 July 2015. It's 129th edition of the championships, the 48th in the Open Era and the third Grand Slam tournament of the year.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic crushed Philipp Kohlschreiber on the opening day of Wimbledon.
Novak pounced at the key moments to see off a dangerous opponent 6-4 6-4 6-4 but was more compassionate when it came to the disorientated sparrow which seemed determined to hog the limelight.
World number four Stanislas Wawrinka beat Joao Sousa 6-2 7-5 7-6 to secure his spot in the next round.
On Tuesday,Roger Federer plays in the second match on Centre Court, followed by Andy Murray.

Serena Williams dusted off a few cobwebs to power into the second round at Wimbledon on Monday, surviving an early wobble against Russian qualifier Margarita Gasparyan to win 6-4 6-1.
Jelena Ostapenk, the 2014 junior champion, secured the first major upset of Wimbledon as she ousted Carla Suarez Navarro 6-2 6-0.
On Tuesday, Petra Kvitova, the defending champion, opens against Kiki Bertens on Centre Court.
