Black Satellites Coach Sellas Tetteh has taken over the reins at Liberty Professionals as head coach, a month after winning the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.
The 53-year-old relinquished the post last year after he was handed the national under-20 job.
He takes over from ex-Ghanaian international Isaac Acquaye who helped the club to escape relegation by the skin of the teeth last season.
Sellas Tetteh’s first assignment will be against an improved AshantiGold side at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.
Liberty Professionals President, Alhaji Sly Tetteh, paid glowing tribute to the out-of contract Isaac Acquaye who has led the team to third place after seven rounds of matches.
Meanwhile, former coach Isaac Acquaye believes securing a new job at the moment might be difficult because the league is already in running.
